Quick notes.
May. 23rd, 2006 10:06 pmNormally I think I should go out, feel like I could go out, and don't wanna go. Right now I don't think I should go out, even though I feel like I could go out and want to go. New eyes and everything. Damn you, adjustment period.

Cool new thing one: The Zombie Hunters.
I actually heard about this comic yesterday. Unfortunately, I heard about it because Randy Milholland linked to it, so I got there in time to see the 509 bandwidth exceeded error message. But they've fixed that.
Post-zombie-apocalypse setting, undercompetent zombie hunters. Feels very much in the vein of "you know, we've overloaded on the shambling dead, and we've all gotten past our breakdowns, so we'll just cope and sometimes you get the feeling we're about to give you the thousand-yard stare and just start *giggling*." You know, the way PCs get about the time they find out the reason they're not being hauled out of the dungeon for their scheduled execution is because the troll at the other end of the prison is now on the loose.
I'm reading the ten pages up to date, and it looks fairly standard. Our Heroes are crossing over a streetful of ravening undead on a cable, equipment bits are falling, it's generally not good. One of them looks down, and spots one of the zombies going "hhuurhhk".
And he looks worried. (Moreso than one would normally expect.)
And the zombie keeps going "hurk. Hurk. Hurk hurk khhaahurk."
And the guy on the wire, Charlie, whips around (as much as is possible) and screams "Daaan! Spitter!"
Clearly these zombies have been taking notes from Canadian moose.
========
Cool new thing two: Colin James, "Far Away Like A Radio". And no, I can't explain it. But I like it.

Had more. Brain just leaked out ears on Gorillaz website.
